Applying for a priority remark

Hi guys. I got a pretty unsettling result in unit 4 of my politics a-level, and consequently applied for a remark through my school... well, at least I think I did :/.

On results day, I told the exams officer I wanted a remark. She made me sign a form that permitted an enquiry to be made, and that was it. I know there is a fee for the remark service, which is why I am worried that it hasn't gone ahead. I didn't get asked for any money, just my signature on the enquiry form.

She didn't explain how the process worked, and I can't contact anyone at my school to find out. Should I have been asked for a fee? Help me please!

Oh, and I'm on Edexcel if it makes any difference.
