It's not your place to change his views. Who are you to change anybody's views? He would simply come to resent you.

I would, definitely. Or at least keep a close eye on it.
Warning, big spoiler, although you'll find out in a couple of years.

Well I threw away the videos I took in class the other day.
No, I'm just trying to piss you off, not ask for advice, It's just a very, very sneaky way of going about it.

1 - A little homophobia never hurt anyone. Who cares what he thinks if he's doing his GCSEs or whatever. I used to hang around with a bunch of racist homophobic chavs, saying dirty fags or ******* immigrants was just what we did. Just as when I hung around with a very gay/camp crowd I did the fag stag thing and when I hung around with working class clever girls I was a socialist.

2- My views are complex and not many people understand them. Unless I'm around my partner or my close friends then I tend to get the vibe of the group I'm with and go with that. Insofar as a view doesn't have a RL impact on anyone, I don't really care what people say.

I'd say nobody understands your views because you don't seem to have any. Sounds like you'd jump off a cliff if it meant fitting it.

Erm, black people and Muslims aren't the only people in the world you know...

I smell a troll. Or an airhead liberal.

1. correct.

2. no and no. hence why i happily said vibrant equals muslims lol.

a liberal would disagree with homophobia but be more worried about your feelings.

Fair enough. But, if you are going to teach him to treat a diverse range of people in the same way, don't just teach him about blacks and Muslims. It's a trap that people fall into, and just promotes more racism IMO.
