Psychology Coursework; What Goes Into An Introduction?

I know this may sound like a very stupid question, but what exactly goes into an introduction?

I have completed my intro, but the more I look over it the more I think that everything I've put in it should go into other sections :/ I can't really find anything online that tells me.

While I'm sure this should probably be common sense, I obviously lack that! So I'd appreciate any help on the topic anyone can offer. :biggrin:
