I was reading the 'what happens next booklet' and the term dates were included...the first two terms are 2 months each and the last term is 3 months....the breaks seem really long...like over a month for christmas!! I'm worried this is longer than most unis.....???

pfft. no.

each term is 10 weeks (non of this 2 months 3 months bs).

lots of unis start earlier and finish earlier

most of the redbricks finish around the same time and start the same time.

don't go worrying now.

Look at the Oxbridge term times they are meant to be really short aren't they?

Eight weeks. Although we generally go back in 0th week, so it ends up being eight and a half, but only eight of lectures and such.

take it as finished by the end of the first week of july.

Presume you mean june?

Different years generally finish at different times, over your time at Warwick you will finish 3rd term anywhere between the last week of may to june 25th or so.

i did mean july. thought they were asking when terms ends for some reason.

what you posted for a real answer.
30 weeks in total - 10 weeks per term.

First year exams typically weeks 6-8; second year exams typically weeks 7-9, third and fourth year exams typically 5-7.

But if you do a second year module in year 1 or 3 then expect a few days where everyone else is free.

As for 30 week years - Oxbridge have 24 or something, others have 28 or so but they end as soon as exams finish and results are given during the holidays. Warwick give results in week 10, term 3. Warwick have quite long terms and start and finish later. By the time you go up, many others would have been at uni for 3 weeks.
oh ok....thanks for the replies ...feel better now XD
