So im looking to do a degree in Biochemistry at uni in 2011 but im currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics but also have an AS in Philosophy & Ethics but im wondered whether or not it was worth continuing with Physics as it is one i find most challeging and is it really needed for a degree in Biochemistry ?

I'm pretty sure most uni's will only care about biology and chemistry, there isn't much point in continuing with Physics as it may bring your other grades down. Also, if you look at the entry requirements for a Biochemistry course on some uni's sites they might tell you what subjects they would prefer.. King's for example says the compulsory subjects are
A-Level Chemistry plus one science A-Level, preferably Maths, Physics or Biology
