I'm not sure but they produce an annual report with statistics like that in. Here is 2004's: http://www.sqa.org.uk/files_ccc/Ann...Report_2004.pdf Don't think they've published 2005's yet so if you want to find out you could check back later in the year I guess.
And I'm at uni now so no results for me from the SQA this year but oh well...!

You could request it under the Freedom of Information Act. There's a link on the SQA website for it.

I got 6 1s at SG (I bypassed english and modern studies cause I got to start my Highers a year early) and 6As at Higher. I know a couple of people with 7As at Higher though (mental people lol)

Highers are (roughly) in between AS and A2 in terms of difficulty I believe, and AH are perceived to be about the same standard as A2.

I've heard it from a few admissions tutors that AHs are perceived to be harder than A2s, due to course content and the fact that they're not modular.

apparently AH is equivalent to 1st year standard undergraduate studies. Engliash ones are lesser than l=this and could not equal this high standard. no offense

I believe AHs are harder than A2s as well (just from talking to English people to be fair, not because I have personal experience of each), but I think the *general* perception is that they're the same kinda standard as A2s. In terms of UCAS points, an A at AH will get you the same as an A at A2 for example.
AH is equivalent to the 1st year of a *Scottish* degree, and I'm afraid A2s are roughly the same (though obviously as I stated I think AHs are of a higher standard). They are not in any way equivalent to the 1st year of an *English* degree - though for some subjects the 1st year is a sort of "introduction" to the subject, for example Computer Science, so AHs definitely help you along the way and with a proper "Computing" qualification instead of "ICT" the Scottish system definitely has the upper hand - but that's a separate issue! But yeah, AH maths is nothing like the 1st year of an English maths degree I'm afraid!

It does vary from AH to AH though. Some are more difficult than others - they're still new qualifications, so they're not quite all on a level yet. E.g. last year, I did AH Maths which I found really hard, and AH Geography which I found quite easy, despite I believe having much more aptitude for maths overall.

I do wonder if any of the OP's qualifications were in modesty however

fn, I hope you didn't get a 1 in English spelling people's names wrong like that
Speaking of which, was just rereading the original post, and despite 10 1s, it seems that the OP still can't spell. The "Grades aren't everything" movement just scored another point.
