I find it a bit disturbing, though I can't help but watch it. I don't like how everything is really grubby and also the idea that England used to be like that isn't particularly nice.
Most of Sheffield and Rotherham still look pretty like that, apart from the rich areas. It can't just be South Yorkshire surely?
The only time a black guy should be near a nationalist skinhead is when he's stabbing him. That is it. No long conversations about fathers. Just a moment of silence for the dead white guy.
Tought it was good, my major gripe with it was that i didn't really feel like a follow-up to 'This is England'. It felty much more like a comedy series, which would have been good in its own right, but within context certain parts such as Flip and his gang felt ridiculous (though still very funny).
Was also disappointed to see it wasn't directed by Shane Meadows himself.
