How tough is optometry?

I've just seen my schedule at Glasgow Caledonian and looks like I'm fully booked for the course.

Maybe some of the optom students here could tell me how difficult or time consuming the course actually is and how they cope with it.

Am I gonna need a lot of coffee?

Ah, my help will be limited - Glasgow Caley spread the course across four years.

At ARU, I'd say it was pretty full-on, but if you take the time over it, you can stay on top of it without spending every minute of the day on it. However, you might find that at Caley, whilst your timetable is quite full the workload itself is a bit less intense. :dontknow:
