Economics and German Degree at Nottingham and Exeter

I am looking to do a degree combining Economics and German. Two universities that appeal to me are Nottingham and Exeter and possibly Sheffield. I would like to find out more information on these courses, preferably from people who are doing or have done this degree and what subjects they took at A level.

I am currently studying Maths (statistics), Economics, German and Psychology at A2 level and I also did General Studies for AS.

I am interested to know which of the areas, Economics and German, is more dominant in this degree and what it is like studying two different subject areas at the same time.
