Changing A-Levels - Uni Suitability

Hi TSR,

So, at the last minute, I elected to do the following AS-Levels:

Mathematics
Biology
Physics
Geography

Much to my displeasure, I also have to study Welsh Baccalaureate Level 3 (120 UCAS Points).

I'm considering dropping Biology, and swapping Maths for English Lit.

Dropping Biology shouldn't, I think, hinder my chances of making an Application to study PPE at Oxford (I know that I did take rather odd subjects with that particular course in mind, but my columns were far from great).

However, I wonder whether dropping Maths will, particularly as I'd only be doing 3 A-Levels, lower the probability of me getting in?

I genuinely think that, if I work hard in English, Geography and Physics, I'll be able to achieve A*A*A*, but with my current choices, I think I'd struggle to achieve AAAA.

Could anybody offer me any advice, please? I need to decide fairly quickly for obvious reasons.

Thanks,

GavM

I'm now doing English Lit, Physics, Geography and Government & Politics (Self-Study).

Should be fun...
