I have. To be part of something so huge in itself will be good enough for me, and having it on the CV is a bonus

When do they start letting people know if they'll be selected? Late 2011 early 2012?
I was going to but tbh I live 2hrs from LDN, getting accomodation will be a mission and I'll hopefully have a job by then . .

Good luck to those applying.
Me :woo: would look good on the cv and It would be nice to be part of a world event

End of this year they'll start asking successful applicants to attend interviews, so they say. Towards the end of next year they'll decide who gets the roles.
Haha no.

It's going to be a ****.

Sorry, Al told me to.

Applied as a first aider. Would be fun.

not if the model of service provision i've heard they'll be using is accurate

first aiders will be kept out of sight other than to respond and the skill set will be extremely limited because LOCOG are paying for LAS paramedics and crowd doctors
I applied to be a London Ambassador :gah:

been told not to apply unless you live in London
as you have to provide transport and what not

and being stuck in a car park directing people? no thanks.
