Info for people with an inefficient LEA - like mine!

If anyone has had problems with their LEA not getting their student loan/tuition fee stuff through then I have some info.

If you're expecting your LEA to pay for all or part of your tuition fee - but haven't had your letter through yet - then Lancaster have told me that on the day of registration they will let you register if you pay £100.

When you get notification from your LEA that your fees will be paid then the Uni will then refund your £100.

Just thought i'd post this incase anyone else is in the same boat :smile:

Just to add - if anyone is getting a bursary then you will need one copy of the form which states that you are not paying any fees (the one from the cr@py LEA) and take it to the student support office in Uni house.
