What was the last film you watched Mk. II

Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

    Safe House - (6/10)

That 6 is for Denzel Washington only. A film with no plot portrayed in a very, very confusing manner (I know right?). No questions were really answered throughout. It's an okay film if you like epic gun battles, car chases, explosions, hand-to-hand combat and the like however.
I stopped watching that movie after 30 minutes. I found it really boring. Everybody was saying how awesome it was, so I was very disappointed .

    Enduring Love - 3.5/10

I was so disappointed in this film considering the book is fantastic! It was just a bit lacklustre I hate it when books get adapted into films and they change unnecessary details such as the name of a character- just keep it the same film people!!

I just finished watching How to Train Your Dragon. One of my new favourite films alongside some of the Iron Man ones. You see, for me, for a film to be my favourite, it doesn't have to be completely perfect; the Iron Man films weren't great. But it's Iron Man that I love.

The Avengers was good, of course, but it was a mixture of gods and superheros so it was a bit iffy. But it had Iron Man in it!

But I've already watched HtTYD before, so the last film I watched really was Ted. The first half an hour wasn't great - it just felt like the trailer. That's it... Then it became alright. The ending narration was hilarious.

I watched Drive last night, which was fantastic.
Also saw Horrible Bosses - turned out to be very different to what I expected and I found it hilarious.

Just watched Silence of the Lambs - 8 / 10

Not jumpy scary as such, but still one of the most terrifying films I think I've ever seen. And the scenes with Hannibal Lecter on screen are absolutely mesmerising. Anthony Hopkins does a fantastic job in this character, although I did really enjoy Brian Cox's portrayal in Manhunter...

Klitschko - 10/10, it is a documentary film on the two brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, two of the greatest boxers of our time and both idols of mine. It is very much like 'Tyson' only better in the way it is presented and what we see

    Amazing Spiderman

7/10 Because Rhys Ifans and Andrew Garfield are just brilliant. As are the rest of the cast. They'd better put Spiderman in the next Avenger's film now. But yeah, I really enjoyed it. Much better than the last trilogy. :yep:

    Just seen 'Your Sister's Sister'

well made, amusing, I like Mark Duplass, but completely unremarkable and no doubt will have forgotton it by tomorrow.

Had a <cliche>drinking 'shots' montage with funky music</cliche>. Almost left after that.

    6.0/10

Hard Candy and i'm giving it a low rating of 3/10 because i didn't really understand it. Need to clear up some points.
    Spoiler:
    Show

Why did Jeff kill himself because some girl he liked would have found out about him? Couldn't he just have killed Hayley as soon as she told him that girl was on her way and then he would have hid the evidence. I might have missed something but i don't remember Hayley leaving some kind of evidence behind that exposed him if she were to be killed.

Also, raged hard at the fake castration, bitch deserved to die just for that.

Princess Mononoke, 9/10. Brilliant film - the environmental message is more obvious in this than in other Ghibli films though.
