    Long-life milk
EEEE! Why buy that stuff when you have a choice, normal milk so so much nicer id prefer to go to the shop if i needed milk rather then drink that stuff!

A litre bottle of vodka + shot glasses (2)
Yeah i already thought of that, i was gonna bring a four bottle octive but then i thought i was propably going a bit over the top!
So im just gonna bring a bottle of vodka, a bottle of malibu and maybe a bottle of JD, that should do me for tuesday night and on wednesday i will go looking for somewhere where i can stock up

Do they have off licences in oxford cos when i went for interview i walked round for ages and couldnt find a single one, apart from buying stuff from the sainsburys which is just robbery!

    HOT WATER BOTTLE!!
I've been sleeping with one in my bed for the last week... firstly for the ankle and then cos it was so bloody freezing!! Last night was the first I wasn't huddled around it shivering!!
It only just occurred to me to pack it...

Other things... Oh I don't think anyone said condoms... Not that obviously anyone is gonna be doin the rabbit thing but you never know... I see condoms as being in the same category as tea. I'm not gonna use 'em, but I bet I can make some friends when somebody's desperate

Ummm washing up liquid - even if you're in Catered like me, if you have kettle and mugs... you know how much mess hot chocolate makes??

Yes, I didn't have any in the first term and was always told off for having dirty mugs. I then brought some along for Trinity term but used hardly any of it! :p:

I hate hot water bottles, when you wake up and you get a shock of cold running up your spin where your lieing on the cold water bottle!
The only thing worse is getting in the bath and falling asleep and waking up to room temp water, what a shocker it happens to me every time, so i prefer showers now harder to fall asleep in the show and if you do you only end up like all shrivaled

This might seem a stupid question to ask but why bother taking washing up liquid when you can just buy it there???

Hehe I feel personally justified in scrounging off my parents!
I live in Newbury, they live in Kent... if they offer to come here and buy me some stuff before I go up then I'll take them up on the offer!!
I'd bring the washing up liquid from here but I've nearly run out...

Is it worth taking your A-level notes because I have quite a few folders?
nope, inevitably thay turn out useless..

remember, all, you will probably go home with more stuff than you came with - books, clothes, free pink feather boas from nightclubs (yes really). so allow for that!

Is there no centuries old custom that you give us BNC-ians beer and take our bikes into your sheds?
Grr! Yes we have to give u beer 1 day a year, but nothing was ever said about bikes. Watch your step or as First Sea Lord I might have to order a repeat of the event that made us liable to give u beer in the first place!
    <glares menacingly> :p:

Lol! But not impossible to fall asleep in showers as I discovered when the person living above me last year managed to flood my room doing just that!

[QUOTE]i live manchester end of kingsway(sorry everyone laura should know what i mean) I know some people from parrswood Jessica Daggers, Stuart Walker both are off to oxbridge you should know them.[Quote]

Wow crazy! I went to primary school with Jess and just went round to say goodbye, and thanks to Stu I have nearly had concussion several times (he finds it amusing to throw me into the air around low light fittings!) Are you ex-Trinity then? I did the full 7 years at PW, they were only around for 6th form

When I go next year, I'll be taking one suitcase of clothes, a document folder with all my credentials in it, maybe my TV, and that's it really.
