On another note, are people thinking of getting the fresher's pass? I think I might but if not many people are planning on going to the events there don't really seem to be much point.

I was going to but I don't want to spend £55 if it turns out that no-one else has one, alternatively I don't want to be the only person without one if it turns out like that, so I'm in kind of a dilemma. I was gonna go to the freshers ball thing though so it might be worth it I guess.

Yeah that's exactly how I'm thinking, probably how a lot of people are thinking really. Do you reckon we can get it after we've arrived and gauged what the consensus on them seems to be?

I'm not sure, I read something on the Warwick SU facebook page and it said they've sold about half of them already and they're expecting to sell out by the end of this week, how true this is I don't know, but I don't think they'll be available when we get there... :/

Does anyone know how many are actually available?

I'm glad I have another week, I haven't even begun to think about what I might need.

Is anyone else getting seriously bored at home? Obviously I go out and that but quite a few people have left and it feels like time is just dragging now.

Yusss, I feel exactly the same. Been at home for ages now.

On the freshers' pass note- I bought one 'cause I just think it's best to be able to socialise as much as possible with all the new people you meet, and not have to worry about money. At least with the freshers' pass it's all paid for and you can just concentrate on buying food and stuff. And also, if you're planning on being VERY social it'll save a nice bit of cash.

We've sold well over half now, and while I don't know exactly how many we sell in total (I think it's around 900) it's looking pretty unlikely there will be any left if you decide to leave it til you're here!

I manned up and bought one, I have the money and your argument swayed me. I'm guessing there will be people to go with to most things and queue jump and all that sounds pretty good.

Haha I manned up and bought one too! Besides if you wanted to go to everything it would cost over a hundred quid, and at least you know the freshers circus party thing will cover half of the price!! x

Meh, I hate that I can't save money because I have no money >_>

Yep I'm bored of waiting. Anyone wants to chat before going I'm all ears. 8 days to go!
I am so bored I even hoovered the entire house earlier :colonhash: hoovered some cheeky football stripes into the lounge though :teeth:

YES. A lot of my friends have left for uni already, and the rest of them leave this weekend.
Next week I'm going to be seriously lonely and it's my birthday as well!
Whyyy do you start so late, Warwick? :frown:

I've ordered a Fresher's Pass. I didn't want one because it's a massive con and waste of money...but all my housemates have/are getting them apparently and have been bugging me to do it...there's no way I'm going to be getting my money's worth ¬_¬ but it does save on the 'hassle' of buying tickets I suppose.

I can't even get a freshers pass if I wanted, I'm absolutely skint!
Tbh I can't imagine everyone from Tocil getting one anyway, considering they only have ~900 and there are more than 3000 freshers.
