Do you always arch like that when benching? Looks like your bum isn't touching it.

Sounds like what happend to me man. I started off happy at 115kg for 5 x 5. Progressed nicely to 145 and then it all went wrong. Now I'm lost and just do any random number of reps
    Try Starr's for less volume.

I do always arch, but I usually try to keep my arse on the bench. Arching is fine so long as your arse stays on the bench. It's now getting very heavy for me and form was slacking.

depends on the fed, some require feet flat, so if feet not flat its a fail

    Squat: (light day)

    110kg x 5
    110kg x 5

    OHP:

52.5kg x 2 (PR* technically, but failed last rep)
    50kg x 3
    50kg x 3
    50kg x 3
    50kg x 3
    50kg x 3
    50kg x 3

    Deadlift: (PR for reps)

    165kg x 3
    165kg x 3

    Chin-ups:

    BW x 5
    BW x 5
    BW x 5
    BW x 5

    Dumbbell Curls:

    16kg x 8
    16kg x 8
    16kg x 10

Squats felt really light, which is good. Deadlifts were pretty easy actually, I'm happy with how these are progressing. OHP is pissing me off immensely.

So I'm transitioning into Starr's routine. This is my first day, and I just skipped the prescribed Mon and Wed lifts and jumped straight to Friday's. Bo biggie.

    Squat:

    65kg x 5
    97.5kg x 5
    115kg x 5
    132.5kg x 3
    97.5kg x 9 (was supposed to 8, but I lost count)

Bench: (didn't do Starr's for bench, just tried to re-do 85kg 3x5, but failed)

85kg x 5 (PR*, but fail because arse was clear off the bench)
    85kg x 4
    85kg x 3

    Kroc Rows:

    40kg x 15 (each arm)
    40kg x 10 (each arm)

    Dips:

    BW x 5
    BW + 5kg x 5
    BW + 10kg x 5
    BW + 10kg x 5
    BW + 10kg x 5
    BW + 10kg x 5
    BW + 10kg x 5

    Dumbbell curls:

    16kg x 10 (each arm)
    16kg x 10 ''
    16kg x 10 ''

Squats were nice and easy. On Starr's, I get back to my peak set of 5 on week 4. I haven't done more than 5/6 reps in over a year and a half. Felt good. 132.5kg felt really good, much better than it did last week or whatever.

Bench is well and truly stalled. Maybe a reset might get a few more kg, but I'm just going to jump on to Starr's for this and every thing else for now. I'm going to continue doing a 2 sets of 3 reps for deadlift, as that lift is still going up very nicely. Hopefully I'll get over 180kg for sets. Pretty sure I can get 180kg for 1 right now fairlyeasily.

EDIT: Also forgot to say, I did bench before squats, but it seems to have made little difference. And also, apart from the 132.5kg, all reps were DEEP/ATG. 132.5kg was still comfortably below parallel.

Yeah, hopefully. That feels like wishful thinking though; at least less than 3 months, all things going well.

Two months has me doing 160kg x 3. Three months has me doing 175kg x 3, hopefully.

    Jesus Christ.

Lean forward more when squatting. Throw in a jerking and twisting motion too for good measure.

Reduce the weight and sort out your form before your spine explodes.

Yeah, you don't seem to get it, do you? We don't leave empty hollow unproductive comments on here (like they do on youtube). If you've got something constructive to add to one's lifting, by all means [attempt] to enlighten us with your wisdom. As of yet, you are no one that has said nothing.
