How is this guy able to sell laptops so cheap? In some cases theyre like £400 off the website price? Most of the inspiron laptops are £100-200 cheaper.

Guys, recently my year and a half old graphics card broke down =( and im planning to buy just a low end or mid range card at the moment, maybe a 7300gt/7600gs or an x1300... which one should i go for???

Out of the ones named, 7600gs. There isnt really a cheapest place, youll just have to look around and also take into consideration varying deliver costs.

Does it? Im surprised.

edit: now that ive checked it performs similar to a x800gto, it beats the 7600gs by quite a margin. In games like Doom 3 and Chronicles of Riddick, its able to beat cards like x1800gto which is impressive.

O_o wow... it even beats x1800.. imagine having an SLI of these two, cheap, but powerful... amazing... sadly i only got mobo with one pci ex x16 slot =(

Its more to do with nvidia driver optimisations for these games rather than raw power. In these games even cards like the 6800gs can challenge some of ATIs top cards. However, ATI are gradually improving their drivers for these games, and the recent catalyst 6.8 drivers improve COD2 performance by 30%.

x1650pro will be out september 14th and will be priced very cheap. Performance will only be slightly better than the x1600xt, so i dont know if its worth waiting for.

roweski: Good apart from the choice of graphics card and motherboard. £10-15 more would have gotten you a Geforce 7300GT, which has superior features compared to the 9250. That way you could have also gotten a decent motherboard (PCI-E only, naturally).

Edit: oh, and what model are the dvd-rw\hard drive?

From a quick look, that seems alright - but you really need a power supply which doesnt come free with a case.
