Do Durham University only accept 'mature' students for foundation courses?

I'm not sure about Software Engineering, but I know some of the "X course" with foundation year is only open to international students.

I'm thinking of doing Software Engineering with foundation year.

The foundation programme is designed for people with no recent chance to take A-level or equivalent qualifications. In the UK, this means mostly mature students but can include students who have been prevented from completing an A-level course by illness, say. One situation where the foundation programme is not thought suitable is where an applicant has taken A-levels or equivalent recently and not achieved the grades required for direct entry to an undergraduate course unless there are significant mitigating circumstances to explain the grades obtained.
