I got a conditional offer from KCL today! English Language & Communication. I am a student from Germany, so I didn't have an interview or anything. And I only just sent my applications off on Jan. 6th!!

At the moment, I am just really uncertain whether I want to go to King's or not...

I'm from Germany, too and I got interviewed (nearly 4 months after I sent my application). European Studies particularity, I guess.

An offer that quickly?! Well done, you must have a very strong application then. May I ask what conditions you got?

Conditions are 2.0 in the Abitur with 12/15 in English LK.

I think it's not that hard to get into the Lang.&Comm. course. They seem to admit lots of overseas students or students whose first language is not English.

So they do for European Studies. But they upped their conditions: Last year the standard offer was 1,7, this year it is 1,5. Might also only apply to the french pathway as it has a significantly higher number of applicants than the German and the Spanish one's. Normally plus 11/15 in the language you want to study, but I didn't get that one. :p:

I just received an e-mail today that I've been accepted onto the MSc International Management, conditional on 3.2 GPA (my GPA is already higher than that). It's the first uni I've heard back from so I'm relieved for sure. Still waiting for some others tho...

applied for Pharmacy B230
requirement BBb (AS biology)

also got reply from LSOP, same course, requirement:BBB

still haven't decide which uni to choose......Kings or LSOP?....i mean, yeh, Kings may have a better reputation, but according to the lastest uni The Times uni league table, (in pharmacy) Kings is 17th whereas LSOP is 10th....and LSOP has always been above Kings in Pharmacy...........if ur talking which uni has a better reputation on their Pharmacy dept, i'd say LSOP...and when ur employed by companies, im sure they'll know which uni's pharmacy results is better anyway...i don't think they just look at the uni's reputation on the whole, otherwise it would be so unfair to LSOP since it is a small institude that specialises in teaching Pharmacy......wot do u think of my vews ppl???
