C3 personally, I never liked applied in secondary school though (quite the opposite now mind you!)

As the questions says. Which is easier? M2 or C3? Or, in other words, which would take less time to learn? I'm doing Edexcel.

I know it depends on the person... but what would you say?

Thanks.

Are you actually serious?

C3 of course - whether or not you are good at Mechanics in general. (But I was under the impression that C3 is compulsory to complete the required modules for A2.)
I personally find them the equal in difficulty; I never used to like mechanics but after a while I got used to it so I didn't find it so bad. The trigonometry sections in C3 put me off for no particular reason - just didn't like dealing with it.

I would probably tell you to go for C3 though, unless you are particularly fond of mechanics.

If you do physics, mechanics could be easier.

However for me I think its C3 - I've only done half or so of M2, and I doubt I will get higher than a B or something (I got very lucky in M1 - 69 UMS - higher than I predicted). In C3, the June 2010 exam was easy apart from one question, I got an A in it!
