    I cannot find much on entertainments effect on the computing environment and would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction

    Just blag it, this sounds like AVCE / Applied GCE ICT? If so theres absolutly no need to do the work propperly. Simply ramble on for a couple of lines about each thing. For examples-

    adaptoin of software + hardware for disabled people - custom keyboards, screenreaders, braile printers, screen magnification

    laws - data protection act (look on www.hmso.gov.uk)

    if you need statistics about access in this country go to www.statistics.gov.uk and one of the American federal sites has literally millions of sets of data dating from the 70's to the present on the use of IT by the public, although some of its filtered in schools.

    If the teacher is refusing to help, at the ned of the day theyre not doing thier job. Have a word with thier superior or your heasd of 6th.
