Will a C in GCSE limit my options?

In my GCSEs i got A*s in maths, and sciences, and Cs in english, RE and things.

I will defintley be applying to some kind of science, it will be chemistry or physics, cant decide which i prefer! :s-smilie:

But looking at a few unis they said they needed at least a B in GCSE English. I think bath was one of these?

I would just retake it, but i think its extremley unlikley that i could do any better, i worked so hard to get that C, i had a tutor for about every week for a year! :frown:

I just cant do English, but i seem to be good at science/maths.

If i did apply to some where that required a B and i had a C would i have any chance? how strict are these?

What should i doooooooooooo?

You either apply to unis that will accept the C grade, or you resit. If a uni specifies that they want a B grade they are unlikely to accept anything less, unless there are mitigating circumstances to explain the lower grade - which seems unlikely in your case.
