Montmartre? It's nice, but I prefer St Germain and the Latin Quarter around Place St Michel. That's where it's really beautiful.

What is an international work camp? I hate camping. No, I have running water and a view of the eiffel tower. No tents for me.

You know where in Paris I like? La Defence  Does that place still exist?
Of course. Although it's not somewhere I'd choose personally, bit Commercialised and touristy. You need to explore more!
When I went the whole place was deserted! That's why I liked it so much.
Really? There were loads of people when I went, but then Paris in September is always busy with tourists.

There is a lovely little creperie/piano bar at the top of Montmartre that is one of my favourite places in Paris.
Sorry to interrupt, but I was just wondering about the work ethic of people at UCL. UCL seems to be a bit more relaxed than say Imperial (I'd really like to go to either Imperial or UCL), but is it just work hard, play hard?
No. UCL students dont work hard unless you are a medic nerd.

n.b. There is a work hard to get by and play very hard attitutde in the first year...

n.m.b. Montmartre is the greatest place in the universe. Fact. But the Latin Quarter is extraordinarily beautiful as well. Cobbled streets, student revolts and all that jazzz...

Pd, go to LSE where you belong...
Im sorry. The Chavs and Medics Act 1682 expressly forbid these two groups from having an opinion. Indeed it is a little known fact that we still have capital punishment reserved for these two insolent groups.
One of my best friends is a medical student and he is living it up big style. In fact, I propose that a lot of medical students are drunken sluts (although I have encountered the odd sexually frustrated nerd, but that's another story)

This is supported by the fact that, on the phone to my father last night, I asked him what he did in his first year of medical school (at UCL), to which he replied "had lots of sex and took lots of drugs" I hate the way my faux-liberal parents feel they can tell me this stuff.

So I think in general, UCL students have always partied hard. Even medics. (who, none the less, aren't allowed to have an opinion)

lol, a post worthy of respect - for once - Pd

but i have to say that I can't believe you post such absolute crap in this forum... it's well known that chavs weren't invented until the late 19th centuary -apparently Queen Victoria gave birth to the world's first chav in 1889!

Haha quality stuff, cheers!

All students make the most of their time.

To clarify, by being something other than idle, they are either working, enjoying themselves or mixing them both to varying degrees.

but i shall repeat

*ahem*

Phonicsdude, give up, ever since you were owned millions of years ago and failed to say you were, you were wrong... you continue to be wrong and you will always be wrong...

The bar talk was pretty good. I spoke to the chump who spoke second who made the biggest howler ever (seriously, I wanted to stab myself repeatedly for about five minutes after he said, "Junior barristers will often...have to work with unsophisticated people"). He was a nice guy, but he kept saying "Ill speak to you honestly now...". Usully when I speak to people I take honesty as read.

I went bowling for Zeeshan's birthday afterwards. I now have a mild hangover. Joy. Bloody lawyers/bowlers.

Revenged. When my head is a bit clearer I will answer your "I said it therefore it is true"-despitethefactthatImamedicandthushavenovaliudopinions rant.
I think there's a little sexual tension going on here.
