University Transfer

Hi,

I am currently doing an HND in Chemical Engineering at a University away from home however I would like to transfer to a Uni closer to home for the main degree.

The problem however is that I want to transfer after completing just the first year of the HND. Would it be possible to do this? And if so could someone please shed some light on how I would actually transfer after completing the first year?

With my current University if I complete the full two years of the HND, I can transfer onto the second year of the degree so I was hoping that with one year completed there might be a possibility of me getting onto the first year of the degree at another University. I hope someone can help me with this.
