Is AAA better than AAAB?

I got AAAB in my A-levels.

Would it have been better for me to drop the subject I got a B in at the end of year 12, and end up with AAA?

This was before the A* i.e. in 2009.

AAAB is definitely better, it is hard to call between AABB and AAA but I personally think 4 subjects is better than 3, 4 shows you are willing to give lots of time to your work.

It is no better or worse. It is irrelevant. Offers are always for 3 A levels. Even Oxbridge don't care how many more you do. Any uni worth going to has nothing to do with the points system.

aaab is better than aaa. the number of subjects you do does help for the likes of lse or warwick, at least for economics.

AAAB is better, especially if the B grade is a hard subject. It shows you're more willing to work and your knowledge is broader.

No. AAAB is better.

You've got a lot of hate for no real reason.
I'd say it was hard to call.

AAA= All top grades, you can say had you taken 4 you may have got AAAA.
AAAB= Not all top grades. The average UCAS points level is lower.

To anyone saying AAA= AABB that's just insane.
