You just told me:
You NEED it for your university course.
You're doing maths, statistics and economics. A* in maths.

Do any of the responses you get here actually affect your decision :\?

Yeah it would bro, because I've heard it's difficult and can you tell me how many modules have to do for it?

I took further maths as I want to do a maths degree, and I am really enjoying it (though as I have only just started L6 this is not accurate). When I was deciding whether or not to take it I used this article on the further maths network, which really helped. http://www.furthermaths.org.uk/student_area/shouldistudyfm.php
The bottom line is if you love maths and want to do a very mathematical degree then take further maths. Don't take it just because it is well respected though, only if it's relevent to what you want to do in life.
