YASS Course

Hi,

I'm in Year 12 and my school has given me the option to do a YASS Course with the Open Univeristy. I am looking to study Dentistry so I'd like to do one of the science courses. However, the ones I'm interested in hold only 15 points. Does anyone know how important how many points each of them holds is?

I'm doing YASS too :biggrin:

I don't know much about the 15 point courses, because we've only been offered 10 point ones. However, the head did say that they can definetly help with applications to courses, especially medicine apparently. I assume this could apply to dentistry too. Which course are you looking at? I'm doing How The Universe Works :smile:

I'm not sure yet but if I do a 15 point one I'll do the Diabetes Care.

My school has offered YASS courses to us too. They only let us do 10 or 15 points ones because anything higher will take a year or two to complete. It's probably better to do a 15 point one because it means you can finish it before you start your A2s and UCAS and that sort of stuff.
