Re: Spent my student loan already
What on earth did you spend it on?

As has already been said, the next installment is not until January (generally around the beginning-mine is due the 10th, but you may have a slightly different date).
If you know a certain amount of money has to last you x amount of time, it's generally a good idea to come up with a sensible budget that you stick to, rather than spending it without a thought of how much you have left and when you're going to get any more. -
Re: Spent my student loan already
I did this in the first term of the first year. I never did it again.
I hope you learnt your lesson! If you get a grant AND a loan I'm impressed you managed to spend so much money so quickly. Your university may have some sort of crisis fund but I can't imagine 'I spent all my loan' will work with that one. -

Re: Spent my student loan alreadyWell... I'm sure you're not alone, but when you consider the kind of people that you're joining in this infamous group of students... it's nothing to be proud of.(Original post by æææ)
Has anyone else done this? when's the next instalment?
Next instalment's probably the 10th Jan for most.
I suggest speaking to the bank of Mummy and Daddy, and getting some extra-curricular tuition on the value of money and something called Budgeting.
but if I'd had way less money to spend then I would've been more careful to budget...
