    Steps to speaking Portuguese:

    1. Learn Spanish.

    2. Speak Spanish, except:

    - Say 'zh' instead of 's'.
    - Add a 'ou' after every vowel.

lol 'zh'? Is that how it sounds when we speak to non-portuguese speakers? And its funny cos the Spanish don't understand Portuguese, but we understand them

I speak Spanish quite a bit so I understand Portuguese, but I think it has more to do with my best friend being Brazilian :borat: Portuguese does sound pretty cool and it's fun to speak, especially the 'zh/sh' bit hahah

Much better than my difficult Indian languages...

Sindhi, my native language, Hindi because I'm Indian, English, Cantonese and Mandarin because I live in Hong Kong, Spanish, and a tiny bit of Portuguese, although I can understand more through reading rather than its spoken form.

Works as an advantage, seeing as Spanish and Portuguese girls are :coma: :coma: :coma: Not too many of them here though

'Tuga' aqui também! I have signed up here because I want to do a Postgraduate degree in the UK on Journalism. I'm going to study Languages, Literatures and Cultures nxt year so, if everything goes well, I'll be applying in 3 years time. Still a lot to go, I know, but if anybody has thoughts about it, feel free to comment.

Heeeeey! I can see I'll have some Portuguese people applying with me or at least the same year as me, so YAY!

I'm dreaming about International Relations at LSE, afraid I'm aiming a bit too high.... I'm really nervous about everything
