Erm, round about 7/8 years I think! So not very long. I actually am very homesick these days :cry2: Haven't been last summer and I normally go regularly :smile:

What on EARTH is happening to Arabic music? I've never heard any of these things posted on here before :/ I feel so out of touch with the Arab World :laugh:

And my input for the thread erm my father's side is from Libya..so not middle Eastern Arab ah well :smile:

Oh you're not alone, I barely know these as well. My brothers/sister know all the Arabic artists whereas I just listen to whatever my mom plays at home: Kathem al Saher and Om Kalthoum, lol

SAME! lets be honest, it is better that way... we have an 'educated taste of music' as my mom would say :tongue: i LOVE Kathem el Saher :smile: I mostly listen to old people too, but I do listen to some new stuff Like Amr Diab etc etc.. but they say the same thing ALL THE BLOODY TIME. it drives me insaneee:rolleyes:

I am Arab \ oman .... and proud about my religion :smile:

I wish the Arabs are Muslims avoid hearing musical song and advise for the better hear Islamic song without musical ...
