Re: The Working At Asda Thread
I've got an interview on Wednesday, though I'm not really sure what it's actually for! I applied for a Bakery position, but I'll be happy with anything tbh. I already work at Boots, but just need the extra hours now the summer holidays here.
A friend told me they had to go round a circle introducing themselves at the Asda Magic event, saying what kind of ice cream they are most like and why. I'm awful at those sorts of questions. :/ -

Re: The Working At Asda ThreadI think they wrote to me after about a week? Might be slightly longer. If you look on the website where you applied it may say.(Original post by Harry Callahan)
I applied for a job at my local ASDA a couple of weeks ago. Just a question, how long is it before they normally get in touch? How long should I wait before I know I haven't got the job? -
Re: The Working At Asda Thread
About a month ago I applied for Asda and got told they want to give me a job, but don't have an opening for me just yet. Now the same store is advertising for staff, with an expiry date of 29th of June. Should I reapply for this one or wait for them to get in touch? I really want this job.

Re: The Working At Asda Thread
Hey guys, I've worked at Asda for a year and will be quitting in September to go travelling, just wondering does anyone know what the notice period is?

I'm part time (14 hours a week contract) but with overtime I do an average of 40 hours per week if that makes any difference? :P -
Re: The Working At Asda ThreadThink it's two weeks. Enjoy your travels!(Original post by Gangee)

Re: The Working At Asda Thread
Hey I've just applied for a job, it says it's temporary/fixed term do you know how long this usually is?
Asking because i'm starting uni in September and I've mentioned this is the application and I'm hoping it won't effect my chances...
theres also a few more openings that i could go for which are permanent and I didnt know if i should mention I'm leaving or not
thank you
