I have an interview! Its for a colleague? Anyone know what that could be? I really want to work on checkouts rather than shop floor.

I've got an interview on Wednesday, though I'm not really sure what it's actually for! I applied for a Bakery position, but I'll be happy with anything tbh. I already work at Boots, but just need the extra hours now the summer holidays here.

A friend told me they had to go round a circle introducing themselves at the Asda Magic event, saying what kind of ice cream they are most like and why. I'm awful at those sorts of questions. :/

Say you're Neapolitan, because you offer a bit of everything.

you only do the assessment once. Then can apply for as many jobs you wan. So you dont redo them. Unless its been over 6 months then you will need to. I have just come back from an interview. Very easy and fun!

I applied for a job at my local ASDA a couple of weeks ago. Just a question, how long is it before they normally get in touch? How long should I wait before I know I haven't got the job?

I think they wrote to me after about a week? Might be slightly longer. If you look on the website where you applied it may say.

Do asda take on temps this time of year? Went to an interview and was told it was only temporary?

They've said my references are incomplete. I used teachers as from my school as references as I don't really know anyone else, so I don't know why they've said that my references are incomplete. Am I actually allowed to get my references from my school?

About a month ago I applied for Asda and got told they want to give me a job, but don't have an opening for me just yet. Now the same store is advertising for staff, with an expiry date of 29th of June. Should I reapply for this one or wait for them to get in touch? I really want this job.

Try ringing training and recruitment at the store.

Hey guys, I've worked at Asda for a year and will be quitting in September to go travelling, just wondering does anyone know what the notice period is?

I'm part time (14 hours a week contract) but with overtime I do an average of 40 hours per week if that makes any difference? :P

Hey I've just applied for a job, it says it's temporary/fixed term do you know how long this usually is?

Asking because i'm starting uni in September and I've mentioned this is the application and I'm hoping it won't effect my chances...
theres also a few more openings that i could go for which are permanent and I didnt know if i should mention I'm leaving or not

    thank you
