Yeah, I like to have them pointed out, but the angle is pretty extreme tbh. I'll have a play around with the position next time.
Looks strong, whats your max? I'd be tempted to taper down and attempt 2 plates if I were you lol.

Also are you high bar-ing? Might be worth getting some knee sleeves and getting some bounce out the hole.

I mean sometimes things work for you and that's what you should do but I think when Mark Rip tells people 30 or 45 or w/e it's a bit too much IMO.

I think 10-15 is pretty good.

Last time I tried a max I got 90kg, since then I think I managed 92.5kg for a double, but that was over a year ago. I'm pretty sure the last time I went for 100kg was not long after getting 85kg 3x5. But back then my diet was lacking and my form wasn't great, so I'm going to keep going and see how far I can get on LP.

    These are all low bar.

Had a bit of a wobble on the way up on the 4th rep of the 2nd set. I think I need to work harder to keep my knees out.
Looks great, very smooth. Can't really comment on anything apart from I agree your foot angle is weird :p:

ye having foot angle more in is uncomfortable but you can push knees out better/create more tension which is good.

I think you need to teach me a thing or two. I still have problems getting down that low

What is it that stopping you from getting that low?

I hate bending down in general plus I think as well with me doing a lot of running and some of the exercise I do put strain on my knees making it difficult for me to go down low plus eating at a calorie deficit doesn't help my lifts in general . It has improved from when I first started but still have a little bit more to go

I'm so tired of quantum mechanics. I should only be worried about the paths of barbells, not particles.

Hopefully gym tonight as well as tomorrow.

OK, it's Norway's national day today. Made pavlova. When that's gone and whatever I make from the leftover egg yolks (creme brulee? custard? chocolate pots?) is gone (lol) no more desserts! Only vanilla quark and yoghurt allowed! I haven't really gained any weight since the transformation comp (apart from putting on the 1kg-ish I lost in a week after my tonsillectomy) but I need to make sure I don't start doing so. I want to slowly lose weight as we head towards the start of the season so that I can cut starchy carbs about a month before my first comp and get into the 69kg category, then hopefully maintain there. Have been so lazy with diet recently. Need to be a bit careful though, as I don't want to get weaker.
It's gonna be hard when I go to London in July and am at home in August! Need to choose wisely in restaurants etc, plus my mum thinks I am "obsessed" with protein so will probably try and force-feed me ****ty English bread or something. NO.

Lol, my mum will probably have a heart attack when she sees the remnants of my powder, she and my brother seem to think it's some sort of steroid. I offered it to my brother before and he said "No, it'd make my thing go small" :lolwut:

Back to lifting today after two exams yesterday, including one which was scheduled to finish at 18:15, none of us were allowed to leave early to save us from disrupting others, even though all of us had finished with about 45mins to spare.

    Ahahaha

I can't believe you weren't allowed to leave uni exams early! We always were.

Usually we are, though with some strange stipulations. Whenever we have our Spanish exams, when there's loads of us, we get told we can leave early, but it's a uni rule that we can't leave in the last half hour, why before then but not after :dontknow: When we have our Italian exams, there's only a few of us and just one invigilator, our teacher, who says it'll cause disruption (tbf, they shove us in a small classroom with tables/chairs set out for a normal lesson for Italian exams, so she does have a point), it's quite annoying.

Yes we have that you can't leave first 30 minutes and last 30 minutes. Who the hell would want to leave first 30 minutes though?

Lol, there's a woman in my Spanish class who grew up in Spain, she left not long after the first 30minutes, I really don't understand why she's allowed to take this unit for credits...

Edit: Saw a guy in the gym today training in a dress shirt, trousers and shoes

I know, I could understand if it were a literature or a history unit, but this one is straight language. There's quite a few people who have one or more Spanish/Italian etc parents and they find the language units pretty easy. Many just did the final year language units in their first year, like this woman, but for someone who grew up in the country and considers herself Spanish (I think her family are English), it's pretty much free credits.
