A2 in gap year

Well My AS choices were (and results)
Maths A
Physics A
Economics A
History B

Im going into year 13, dropped history, and taking up chemistry AS.
Looking at courses, I want to do something thats related to chemistry and physics.
Would it be a disadvantage to do my A2 chemistry in my year out and apply next year? Would it be looked down upon?
I was looking to do the A level part time while i was doing a YINI placement.
Any advice?
Cheers to anyone who can help

No, not at all. It just shows you've changed your mind which is perfectly understandable. When we make our A level choices, the majority of us are only 16 or 17 which is incredibly young to be knowing what we want to do when we're in university.

As long as you get a good grade you ought to be fine.
