Hey all,

I've applied to Cov (interview on the 14/12), Wolverhampton (not heard anything), BCU ( not heard but wont till feb when they have all the applications) and I've had unsuccessfuls at DMU and Staffs which suck but I'm sorta losing any hope that I will get in this year.

I've just spent the last 2 years doing a part time access course and have obtained Distinctions all the way through and have my 9 and a half GCSE's from when I was a kid, but looks like I'm going to have to something else to up my chances as my tutor thinks this isnt enough.

good luck girls x

I got a letter through if that helps. I got it about two weeks ago and applied about two weeks before that. They will probably be doing different interview dates so probs nothing to worry about!

You should have no problem with the maths test- it's just to check that applicants have a working knowledge of maths, and I believe you usually get to use a calculator in these tests- not sure about Salford. The English test is to see if you can express yourself clearly, have good spelling and grammar etc- I think it's usually a short essay on a midwifery based topic, so it also checks that you've been thinking about those issues.
