    Hollister and Jack Wills
Hi Quick Poll for Aberdeen Students

In Aberdeen there are both these stores. Do you prefer Hollister or Jack Wills? . My personal opinion is why do people bother to pay twice as much for the same clothes at Jack Wills (which in my opinion is very expensive) when you can get them at Hollister which is awesome and has the same quality of clothes and same vibes with music blasting out and hot young models working the shop . I had to do a double take when they say University Outfitters (yeah Oxbridge Unis outfitters ).

I wear a lot of hollister stuff but was dragged into Jack Wills by a friend recently.. I couldn't get over the fact that the stuff they sell is of no better quality than the run of the mill stuff you see in M&S and similar high street stores, but because of the badge they charge 3 times as much. It's no better material, no better put together, literally couldn't tell it apart from budget crap. Hollister stuff at least feels softer and better made.. :/

I like some of the clothes at Jack Wills, I will maybe get something if ive saved up money in the final reductions, I'm not a huge huge fan though, though I do not have anything from Hollister. I do think that Hollister and Jack Wills t-shirts are especially overpriced, I mean £15 (hollister) and £24 (jack wills) for just a t-shirt is a bit ott, i mean theres nothin really special about them (apart from the fact that they scream Hollister or Jack Wills on them. Lots of my friends love both though, and one of my friends thinks its designer, I don't know why but that really annoys me, I mean how can it compare to Prada, Chanel, Miu Miu, etc..

It's not bad, per se, just doesn't seem to match the quality its pricetag would generally be associated with. People can spend their money how they like, it's of no consequence to me, I was just under the impression the point of the thread was to gauge people's opinions rather than to make completely closed statements and pass judgement on the thousands of people who regularly shop in both stores.

Clearly they're outclassed by Primark. Why would anyone pay through the nose to be a walking advertisement?! Don't even say quality. Without the logo's they'd be worthless to the people buying them.

I hate how people buy like ONE thing from either store and are like ohhh look at me, i'm a hollister/jack wills shopper.
They do have some nice stuff though.

I like both of them but I think that Jack Wills is just more about the name and the logo. A lot of Hollister clothes (for a cheaper price, too) is exactly the same quality, if not better, and doesn't always have "HOLLISTER" printed across everything. I got a Jack Wills hoodie in the sale to see how it compares to a Hollister one and I must say, for £30 cheaper, my Hollister one is SO much better. Plus, it just says "HCo" rather than "WILLS" emblazoned across the front. I do like both but Hollister, for me, is a lot better.

(on a Team Jack Wills note though, the shops are nicer - esp. the one in Exeter)

It's all about Abercrombie & Fitch.

    Hollister is like A&F 'lite'.

    Jack Wills is just :vomit:
