Hmmm, if I were you I would apply for temporary Christmas jobs for now... as loads of places are looking for temps & it gives you something to put on your CV. But don't rule out applying for permanent jobs as some places won't mind giving you time off. I have a friend who got a job at BHS in June, but went into hospital in July and came out a week ago. She still has her job and starts again in a week. I think the bigger branches won't mind you having the time off, esecially for medical purposes. Good luck
