I applied for this! Apparently for Event Services?

I'm actually on a scheme where BP pay for all your expenses (hotel, travel etc) during the Olympics themselves, provided you do some volunteering in your local community first. Which is pretty awesome. I probably wouldn't have applied otherwise though - it's a massive financial outlay just to do some volunteering.

They wouldn't let me apply because I'm three months too young, so I'm stuck with all the kiddies who applied to be a London Ambassador too. :ahee:

I have an interview as well but for the Accreditation team ! The first 45 minutes is spent to register us, take our photo, and check our identification. The interview is only 30 minutes.

"We want to hear about you, your story and why you want to become a Games Maker. We'll also talk to you about your relevant skills and experience."

Since on our application we didn't give them much information about ourselves, I guess we just tell them about ourselves.

meeee I have! I've applied to work in the press area because I'm interested in journalism as a career and I will (hopefully) be reading English at uni at that time.

    Good luck to everyone!
    hey,
did you get an interview? and if so, is it letting you select a time?

I got an interview for the aquatics team. Did they ask loads of questions or did they just want to know why you want to do it?

I applied and have an interview for an event services role
Does anyone know what this is? It's so vague!
I actually applied for medical roles in pharmacy. Could I still have a chance at this or would it have specified the pharmacy role or said a sport, medical and antidoping!?
    I'm feeling a bit gutted
Did anyone else apply for Pharmacy?

I'm yet to hear from them!
I got an e-mail about two months ago basically saying 'we haven't forgotten you, selections are running throughout 2011' so I'm not too worried...would be nice to hear though!

Did you also apply for Media?

I've got an interview tomorrow for medical services as a first aider. I'm looking forward to it apart from being slightly nervous. I really hope it goes well.

I have an interview for the opening and closing cerimonies teams I doubt I will get it as I only have a BTEC and am 19 but I can always hope. What was other people's events. Has anyone been given an interview for this team too?
