Also, has everybody been emailed their technical rehearsal tickets from ticketmaster then? I haven't been, I don't think... :/
I haven't - think perhaps people are possibly referring to the confirmation email? Though I don't know that for sure, and I only received one of those...

I definitely received a ticket Could be only the 23rd that have been sent out, maybe they discovered the double ticket error before sending 25th so are working on a fix since nobody has heard anything about this second ticket I don't think.

Hmm, thanks for that. Just a tiny tiny bit worried, and hope that you're guess at tickets for the 23rd only being sent is right (seems logical), as I've made arrangements now for the 25th, and I'll loose money on a Travelodge booking if I don't get my ticket (not to mention, 'course, being bloody disappointed...).

I haven't received one for 25th yet. Glad I'm not the only one reading this.
Could be they send them out a certain number of days before the event, so 23rd would get them a couple of days before the 25th people?

I'm in on the 23rd. Haven't got a ticket yet. The confirmation email says
You should receive your ticket no later than Friday 20 July.
so hopefully one will arrive. It comes by email right, and who does it come from? The booking ocnfirmation was from "customer.services@ticketmas ter" or something, but other things have been called just "ticketmaster" Who does the ticket come from, so I can keep my eyes out, only a week and a day!

Did any1 else attend VST @ the Olympic Stadium yesterday for EVS Team Members?

The reason I ask is becuase after our tour of the stadium it ended really randomly and every1 just kinda walked off and went home. I'm now questioning whether we should have gone back to the Workforce Break Area? It just didn't seem very final.

Been watching them rehearse in Olympic village all day from work. Amazing views. A lot of games makers are staying at our hotel too, best views of the whole area.

An exciting offer! As a host borough we have been given a number of tickets to give away for FREE to local residents to watch the technical rehearsal of the Olympic Opening Ceremony. The event will take place on Monday 23 July and it will provide a unique opportunity to experience the Olympic Park and Olympic Stadium. Residents who would like tickets are being asked to visit either Barking Library between 9am and 9.30pm, or Dagenham Library between 9am and 7pm on Thursday 19 July, and to report to the library desk on the first floor. Don’t miss out on this exciting offer and don’t forget to tell your friends and family about it too To find out more visit: http://www.lbbd.gov.uk/sites/London2...12tickets.aspx

Yeah that's normal. Some overrun, some don't. They just give you a longer time. My RST finished 2-3 hours early and my VST ran 1 hour late because we where all split up into our groups and got a lot of information. Other groups may have left earlier. Just one of those things. There's no way they are going to only give you half the information so all is well!

    ------------

One question I have, what's the idea for when the weather is good in regards to our uniform? Are we still expected to wear our jackets everyday? I start this Friday , haven't really gone through my uniform yet but what do they expect from us on a hot day? Bring the jacket don't wear it? Or it's fine don't bring it? It's the one thing that won't fit in that bag they gave us so yeah..

but it does! And on even a hot day a very early start you may need a jacket
