Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

I'm not a 'rounded' person

I'm really struggling with my personal statement. I want to send it off asap but I need to include something that makes me seem more of a ''rounded'' person, according to my tutor, but I don't really have any hobbies that are appropriate to write on a personal statement so what else could I include for this?

To be honest, I am not a rounded person either. I don't think anyone can be one. :smile:

People are good at different things. Of course, university wants well rounded person but they also acknowledge that someone who is good at maths is not necessarily good at English and someone who is great and public speaking is not neccesarily good at Sports - quite a crap example but hope you get what I mean. Include anything about you, extra curricular activities you ahve done at 6h form or something like that. If what you do don't relate to Politics, maybe try add a sentence in there to tell the admission what tranferable skills that you recieve from doing such things :smile:
