Maths and Computer Science course - is it any good?

Hi,

I'm thinking of doing a Maths and Computer Science degree, but I'd like to know a bit more about it.

Firstly, do you actually learn enough maths/computer science to be able to call yourself an expert in either field?

Also, what percentage of a normal maths degree will be covered and what percentage of a normal computer science degree?

Finally, is the degree any good in terms of jobs? Do employers prefer you to have just a maths degree or just a computer science degree instead?

I've been advised against this. The two often link in with each other, so it's a bit pointless to do both, I'm not sure of the percentage like you said, but doing another joint honours degree would probably expand your career options more.
