Re: Review the music track above youPleasant though lacks oomph. Love Sigur Ros!(Original post by JDWhite1995)
Reminds me of an English-language Sigur Ros track - apart from the lead singer's isn't Jonsi-esque at all. If it was instrumental, one could mistake it for SR!

Re: Review the music track above youSounds like something my sister would listen to, which isn't much of a compliment from me!(Original post by MacCuishy)
Apologies for the wee intro bit at the start, it's the best version I could find.

Re: Review the music track above youFair enough, Billy Bragg's "off-punk" style isn't to everyone's taste. Now, if you're going to play soundtracks I'll see your Newman and raise you a Goldsmith:(Original post by MacCuishy)

Re: Review the music track above youDon't really know what to make of that.(Original post by obi_adorno_kenobi)

Can't go wrong with some Beatles.

Re: Review the music track above youIt's meant to signify Rambo's isolation and the use of the solo trumpet links to his martial background (a returning Vietnam vet). Quite clever orchestration as well as the tune itself being haunting in the context of the film.(Original post by JPKC)
As for the Beatles: you can, actually; that's not one of their more engaging numbers.

Re: Review the music track above youThe Beatles are not a group I'd voluntarily listen to, except for 'Lucy'. Not my kind of music. Springsteen = good. Though all ballads like that make me think of:(Original post by obi_adorno_kenobi)

Bumping with one of my favourite songs (that nobody will know or like I'd imagine).
