Hey, has anyone else applied for psychology at UCL this year? I have but I havent looked round yet! But the location is amazing. I am also applying for Royal Holloway, Nottingham, Warwick and Nottingham Trent and have one offer from Royal Holloway. But I am yet to hear anything from UCL at all. Has anyone? I hate the wait! haha xxxx
Still waiting on RHUL! Getting a bit worried now seeing as loads of people are getting offers from there already. But, i suppose (or hope) that it's because I sent off my appliation about 4 days ado. UCL's my first choice though. Yep, the wait is agonising!

I haven't heard anything either but one person today got a questionnaire from psych so I think the department are finally getting their bums in gear! I've also got an offer from RHUL are you going to a post offer open day there? x
Hey, i just wanted to know, did you mention anything about statistics in your personal statement? I know it's a big part of the UCL course and I know you don't do a maths A-Level. I didn't. Quite worried now, I think it may have helped...

funny you should say that, because I've been thinking the same thing! Maths isn't my strongest point, but I did mention a line referring to a statistical test. The thing I'm worried most about is how much I spoke about hobbies. It was only took 1 (out of 5) paragraphs but I heard UCL are looking for a more academically based PS.

Thing is, how're you suppose to convince them you're a well-rounded person when all they want you to talk about is academics!? It's sent in now though, so nothing more can be done!

snap! I got a B as well. I cry at any maths, but can just about do it if I'm forced and work on it hard. But, I like a challenge. I can do statistics more than anything, which is pretty lucky tbh :P x

Same I have a one or two paragraphs on extra things ... I'm not looking forward to maths side of the course. It's good that you've got that one line in though But yeah, what can we do? Getting really fed up now. Need an offer from somewhere NOW!

I'm probably being really impatient... 6 days since I sent my application off. I suppose those of you who sent it earlier are worse off. xx

Haha, yeah, I know... Wow 7 weeks. You have three offers though already, right? That's really good, but if you're like me with your heart set on UCL, they probably don't matter as much?

Yeah, I hope i get offers soon too.. Thank you xx

you've hit the nail on the head there! The only uni i'm possibly interested in out of my offers is RHUL, but it all depends on UCL. I hope it's good news for both of us! xx

I applied for psychology at UCL. I received rejection today but you shouldn't worry I have quite specific situation. As a mature student I don't have grades and A levels connected with psychology.

    Good luck to everyone.

How have you applied to Cambridge and Oxford?
