Design?

I've just started to look at unis for when I go to uni (starting 2012), and I'm looking at doing a design based course. I've considered product design and graphic design, but I'm not sure graphic design is for me, and I'm wondering what other courses someone can suggest to me, anything design related, just to give me an idea of what's on offer?

I'm also wondering if people can suggest some good unis for design?

The truth is that I haven't a clue of what I want to do at uni, so thought I'd start now, so I'm open to most suggestions.

I'm fairly creative and also like photography so that's another option I have, though I think design is the way forwards for me.
