I'm also in my 30s and I'm pretty sure I'm not old. Deluded and in denial maybe but I'm certain that I'm not old. Excuse any typos, I'm having trouble typing as my arthritis is kicking in and my sight is going.

Just did an access course too and will be starting uni in Sept.

Edit: LOL!!! I got negged for making fun of my own age???

Hi I will be going to Staffs Uni in September to study a BA Advice degree. I am a graduate of "Life experience University" so as an older mature student (40 something) I am a bit apprehensive. Hopefully I will have a good experience

there are a lot of students in my class that are over 23. i feel like an outsider sometimes because they talk about all their experience and everything that they have learned. i don't really know where i'm going with this.... but don't feel old, it is better that you start reading when you are ready for it rather than because everyone else is doing it.
im thirty...am well past it apparantly lol i did health sciences if u need a hand with any assignments inbox me i maight be able to help

Hi, I'm Sophie I'm 20 years old (pretty sure I count as a mature, hmm) and will be starting a part time Access to Health Studies course in college from September (as well as continuing to work full time, eek!). I last went to college two years ago after completing a BTEC in childcare and have been working ever since, so I'm a little nervous about going back into education! I'm hoping that after Access, I'll be studying Occupational Therapy at uni next September.

I'm 35 (yes, THAT old!) and shall be starting UWE in Sept to do Psychology with Criminology, after completing an Access course earlier this year. Feeling very old after reading some of the ages of some of my fellow 'mature students'!! Anyone else going to UWE??
