Excuse any typos, I'm having trouble typing as my arthritis is kicking in and my sight is going. 
Just did an access course too and will be starting uni in Sept.

Hello everybody Im francesco from Italy and Im 24 y old.
This year Im going to living in London with my girlfriend and we are going to study in a college with the double purposes to improve our english skills and learn nursing/medicine ( I hope they took me to medicine).

there are a lot of students in my class that are over 23. i feel like an outsider sometimes because they talk about all their experience and everything that they have learned. i don't really know where i'm going with this.... but don't feel old, it is better that you start reading when you are ready for it rather than because everyone else is doing it. -

Hi, I'm Sophie
I'm 20 years old (pretty sure I count as a mature, hmm) and will be starting a part time Access to Health Studies course in college from September (as well as continuing to work full time, eek!). I last went to college two years ago after completing a BTEC in childcare and have been working ever since, so I'm a little nervous about going back into education! I'm hoping that after Access, I'll be studying Occupational Therapy at uni next September.
