What is the value of Cr in terms of r? I'm really not sure how to work this question out. :s-smilie:

Well, seriously, if that's all you have to go by then I'd tell whoever set the question that it's stupid...

Possible answers:

C_r = (4/3) x^3 - 10 x^2 + (77/3) x -17

or

C_r = (-1/3) x^4 + (14/3) x^3 - (65/3) x^2 +(127/3) x -25

and so on. The list is literally endless.

Numbers which leave a remainder of 0 or 5 on division by 6?

As other people have posted, you really need more information.
