The Employment Rate?

Does anyone know what the national average is for employment rate after graduation?

There's been examples of people who've done a degree in say Business Management and can't find work, so they apply to ASDA or whatever.

Are there more graduates than jobs?

It depends on the university and the course, but the graduate employment rate is possibly about 60-70% nationaly after 6 months.

Having a degree is not just about jobs and even if you can't get a good job straight away the degree will probably help in the future.

But if you have a vocational degree, like Occupational Therapy or Physio, where you're trained for a certain thing, how is that going to help you in other types of jobs?

60% of jobs require no specific degree, with my computing related degree for example I could still apply for other graduate schemes which are nothing to do with computing.
