Subject: Are you interested in a career in the City?
OUT in the City
“OUT in the City is a great event that I truly recommend everyone should try and attend. I have personally found that it is a great thing to have on your CV, as companies have seen that I have a genuine interest in the industry and that I am motivated to pursue opportunities there. This definitely makes you stand out from the crowd. It’s an evening that most people do not get the opportunity to attend, and having that foot in the door serves as a huge advantage when it comes to applying for jobs.” 2004 attendee

“I found the evening tremendously informative and rewarding. It is an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into the companies presenting at the event, and into the graduate programmes that they are offering. I also found the speakers’ accounts of their experiences of working and living in the City both invaluable and honest. It was great to see positive gay role models with successful careers.” 2004 attendee
