i think the films suck...i'm just glad they haven't completely ruined the books for me (however the merchandise *shudder* is doing a much better job of it)

how on earth are they going to make ootp into a film? it'll be like 5 hours long! and the development of ron's character is going to be excurciating, unless rupert grint's full repertoire of two facial expressions expands a little.

Yeah, I couldn't stand the first two flicks. Actually couldn't watch them the entire way through. Perhaps if they weren't aiming at the children as the audience it would be better. After all, kids flicks still need to appeal to the parents who get dragged along to the cinemas too

It would be nice not to see anymore flicks, but think of the money those things bring in. Got to be good for the economy. God bless JKR. She taught the world to read again, gave some kids a shot at acting, single handedly raised the economy, and possibly a few other things lol

I think I'm going to be really disappointed with the next film, its my favourite book, so I'm hoping its gonna be amazing, and it so won't be.

I was plesantly surprised by CoS, I was disappointed by the first, so wasn't expecting much from it, which is why I think I enjoyed it more, I'm now trying to get myself into a mindset so I'll enjoy the 3rd one as much!

I didn't really like the third book as much as the rest i'd give it a 9.5 out of 10 instead of the full marks. There was too much talking at the the end I wanted more action, hopefully the film will bring it too life a little bit more.

The second film was way better than the first one, big improvement made.

I thought that the 3rd book was actually one of the best ones!

I have to agree, the actors (well, most of the kids anyways) are quite bad, as if they're over acting and trying a bit hard...but I also think that the guy who plays Ron is quite funny, especially his 'Bloody hell' bits! Robbie Coltraine is good too, very convincing!

What's happening about your audition? Have you had it yet? When do you find out whether you're in or not?
Oh yeah, and Robbie Coltrane as Hagris is one of the best suited for the part, I reckon, and does a good job.

    Harry Potter
I was completely obssesed w/ Daniel Radcliffe when I saw the first one...that was in 6th grade though.....So....umm...I'm not as big as fan of Harry Potter as I was....and Book No.3 was my favorite. They have a new director now...so maybe the won't be as stupid....yeah...it's just the actors change and the books are great but the movies...even though they are big money makers aren't all that great. LOTR's is kick A** though~

Reread the third book to decide if it is as good as the rest, I still like the fourth book best but I would say that the third is i fact better than the fifth, hopefully the film will be great, but I don't want to getto excited unless I'm let down.
