    Anyone got recommendations for a good volume of comics to read? preferably already complete or with plenty of issues already.

    Im into comics like The Authority, The Boys, Incorruptible/Irredeemable, Preacher, Fraction's Invincible Ironman, Current X-Force.

    FuryMAX is by Ennis as well and pretty good, only a couple of mini-series so far.

    Try the Authority by Warren Ellis.

    It might interest you guys that Alan Moore is apparently dabbling in screenwriting for the first time, working with Mitch Jenkins on a series of short films. :beard:

    I'll believe it when I see it. He hates the medium of film, but that might just be Hollywood. Also, the last script he was supposed to be co-writing, Dr Dee with Damon Albarn, he dropped out of pretty quickly.

    I have the 1000 page Walking Dead compendium, which I've been told is the best purchase I could have made. Going to get started on it, I've heard a lot of good things about this series.

    The same creative team , who did Immortal Iron Fist are in charge of the series.

    I would be, as I love Matt Fraction and David Aja is my favourite artist atm, BUT...it's Hawkeye.

    Just recieved the first four issues of Saga, read 1-3.

    It's awesome!

    Anyone else reading it? Isn't Fiona Staples artwork just amazing?

    It's such a good series! I hope we get to see what Hazel looks like when she's older. Wings and horns? That's going to look amazing.

    Just got back from Sand Diego Comic Con! It has been a surreal experience!
    Highlights include:
    - Neil Gaiman's return to comics! e.g. Vertigo Panel
    - The DC dark and edge panel
    - DC's Batman panel.
    - Scott Snyder/ Jeff Lemire Spotlight panel.
    - Robert Kirkmans' Skybound and Image Panels
    - Futurama panel
    - Marvel movie panel (Guardians Of The Galaxy FTW!) Also Ant-man and Iron Man 3 look awesome too.
    - Community Panel (Best comedy show on TV)
    - Legend Of Korra Panel
    - Archer Panel
    - Game Of Thrones panel
    - Firefly Reunion panel
    - Venture Bros/ Adult Swim panel
    - Fringe panel (It got pretty emotional)
    - Doctor Who (Dinosaurs on spaceships!)
    - Sony sci fi panel. (Total Recall, Looper and Elysium all look awesome!)
    - Got a look at Man Of Steel, Pacific Rim and Godzilla footage. They all look amazing!
