Yes, and I've only read excerpts of the original Sandman I need to borrow them off my girlfriend at some point.

I'm happy to see Neil Gaiman writing comics again.
Also, to get the conversation ball rolling, what have you guys been reading lately?
From DC I've been reading Batman, The Flash, I Vampire, Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Justice League Dark, Dial H, Nightwing, Batman and Robin, Red Hood & The Outlaws, Aquaman, Demon Knights & Earth 2.
As from Marvel, I've been reading Daredevil, Hawkeye, Uncanny X-force, Venom, Scarlet Spider, X-factor, Winter Solider, Fantastic Four, Defenders, Thunderbolts (Dark avengers) & ASM.
From Image, I've been reading all their titles, including the skybound ones. (E.g. The Walking Dead, Invincible). Image has been on top form with their comics, it's a shame that most of attention go to Marvel & DC. Image deserves more, in my opinion.

Anyone been reading the current 'Stay Angry' storyline in The Incredible Hulk? Been very interesting so far, it should hopefully have a very good conclusion and it's an interesting turnaround on the relationship between Hulk and Banner.

From Marvel I'm currently reading Amazing Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk, and from DC I'm reading Justice League and The Flash. I would buy more, as there's definitely more stuff I'm interested in, but a) I can't afford to buy loads of comics at once and b) my girlfriend is also a comic fan so we tend to read each others'. Thanks to that I've also been able to read things like Superman, Scott Snyder's Batman and Swamp Thing, the latter two I especially love from the New 52.

Jason Aaron's Incredible Hulk has been the worst thing he's ever done. It's been awful.

Now he's been announced as Thor writer (with Esad Ribic on art) for Marvel NOW!, so let's hope he can pick up his old standards. I'm being harsh tbh, Wolverine and the X-Men is sublime.

I agree. His current hulk run is not his best work. But his Scalped work is pretty great though.
I'm hoping he's going to do good work on Thor. To be honest, I think marvel should have gave the Thor title to Kieron Gillen, he's done amazing work Thor and Journey Into Mystery(that sadly ending soon). As for Marvel Now!, I'm looking forward to some of the new titles. Especially Jonathan Hickman's Avengers! (Finally no more Bendis) I'm also looking forward to Mark Waid's hulk and Rick Remender's Uncanny Avenger looks interesting too. But it's shame that I won't be reading much X-men titles, when Bendis takes control.

    Awesome news!

I wonder who he'll try to kill off this time. Better stay away from Coulson this movie. (because he's got to be alive!)

Hopefully! That would be a mini claim to fame. And of course the comic would go in my 'most treasured' collection!

Oh, Teen Titans and Birds of Prey are both so good!

Birds of Prey Volume 1 is ace, so good and I love the dynamics between Oracle and Black Canary in it. Birds of Prey Volume 2 is short and sweet and has Brightest Day tie-ins. Birds of Prey Volume 3 (the one currently out) is also epic, the art work is just great.

Teen Titans is my all time favourite comic, it being the one that got me into graphic novels when I found a battered old copy of a book in my library. Since then i've been hooked!

I'd really recommend Teen Titans. The New Teen Titans is my favourite, having two runs in the 80s. Get your hands on some of the older copies, and read Marv Wolfman's wonderful writing!

Cool. I'll be checking those out then. I've been reading mostly titles like Batman, Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Justice League Dark etc. Also, have you been reading Red Hood & The Outlaws? I ask because Starfire is one of the main casts.

Oh, I haven't been reading Red Hood and the Outlaws! But if Starfire is a main character I may just have to start reading it...

    Thanks for the tip! ;D

Also I can't remember....did you say you read saga or not?

    Saga is great.

Red Hood and the Outlaws went from terrible to sort of alright to just mediocre. Unfortunate.

Do any of these new titles appeal to anyone here? I know there's going to be more since, Marvel only confirmed 12 out of 25 titles, that there going to be announcing. If I were to predict what titles, that will be announced next, it will be something like this:
    - Ant-man

    - Young Avengers
    - Guardians Of The Galaxy
    - Another anonymous X-title (Cable?)

I've just started getting into Comics after finally giving in to my brother and I'm really suprised how much i'm enjoying them. I've always liked comic style stories but as a keen reader I expected the focus on images to put me off.

I started with Hellblazer and so far i'm finding the books ok (only read Original sins) but a bit slow, I expect i'll enjoy the later books more as they appears clearer and easier to follow than the older stuff. Today I picked up the first new Suicide Squad book after hearing about DCs new 52 reboot and wanting to take the opportunity to start at the beginning and read a comic with more action. I really enjoyed it and was my favourite of all the comics i've read, I definately plan on collecting the individual comics.

I usually get mine off of ebay, but other places that I buy them are at conventions, and some larger comic book stores will have older back issues (though this is becoming rarer, which is sad). I know that there are still a couple of the larger Forbidden Planets that sell back issues.

Ebay is probably you're best bet for good prices and selection.
